Prague, the capital of Czech Republic is the home to a number of famous cultural attractions, many of which survived the destruction of 20th Century Europe. The old architectures and streets will surely make one feel like it’s one of it’s own sort of place. Amongst the many architectural wonders that exists within the city, the famous Charles Bridge during sunset with the golden light falling on it’s bricks is considered as one of the most romantic. Thus giving it a name, golden city.
The first glimpse of the Wenceslas Square, right outside the Prague Main Train station was overwhelming. The place where Czechoslovak Republic was first declared in, 1918.
We directly started moving towards the Old Town. The famous astronomical clock stood tall with pride welcoming it’s visitors. The area was overcrowded by the tourists absorbed by the beauty of the old town.
There are free guided tours that are offered, which is recommended to get to know the grand history of this historical city.
The famous St. Vitus Cathedral, situated at the Prague Castle is a majestic Goethic masterpiece which took centuries to complete. It is also a symbol of pride for Czech Republic for the amount of work that went behind to complete this breathtaking masterpiece. The great south tower of Cathedral is more than 90m tall.
Other than this beautiful cathedral, there are many more beautiful churches in Prague which stuns the tourists.

And after a long tiring day, there cannot be anything more soothing than the views of the river Vltava with the bridges and the reflections of the lights of the city in it.
